Lipstick (2016)

An icon of the Maasai Mara displaying his battle scars. He was named “Lipstick” due to the bare skin beneath his lower lip and together with his brither “Blackie” they form a formidable male coalition – the “4km males”

Thought to have been born in 2006 – they have together fought many battles, sired many cubs and devoured countless herbivores.

They are indeed the true warriors of the Mara.
