Samburu maneless Lion
At first we all thought that this was a lioness, but only later did I realise that we had just witnessed a rare sight of a maneless lion attempting to hunt a waterbuck at the Samburu National Reserve. Though the hunt itself was unsuccessful, we were all left in awe at the stealth and patience of this big cat.
